The Norridge Building Department registers contractors on an annual basis according to the calendar year. In order to register as a contractor, you must complete an application and follow the registration requirements stated on the document.  Bonds must be trade specific and show an expiration date of 12/31/2010. Each trade requires a separate bond and must be an original. Continuation Certificates are not accepted. The bond must include a (30) day cancellation clause, and be signed and notarized. 

 

The License and Permit Bond shall be in the amount of $10,000 and name the Village of Norridge as the obligee. A Certificate of Liability Insurance is required stating the Certificate Holder as the Village of Norridge.

 

Electricians and Roofers must submit a copy of their city/state license. Plumbers only need to submit a copy of the State of Illinois License (055) (bond is not required).
