The Norwood Park Fire Department resides at 7447 W. Lawrence, Harwood Heights, 60706. We provide fire protection and emergency medical services (advance life support) 24 hours a day-365 days per year to the Villages of Norridge, Harwood Heights, and Norwood Park Township. The department protects approximately 25,000 people within 7 square miles. The amount of Fire calls and EMS calls per year range between 3000-3500. The department consists of a Fire Chief, Deputy Chief, Fire Inspector, 3 Shift Commanders, 3 Lieutenants, 15 fire fighters, and 12 paramedics. The department operates 3 engines, 1 quint-ladder truck, 2 ALS ambulances, 1 command car, and 3 staff vehicles. The ISO rating for the District is a class 5.
