The Village of Norridge is proud of its Hometown Hero Veterans Banner Program, recognizing current and former Norridge residents who served in a branch of the United States military.  The Hometown Hero Veterans Banner Program was started in 2024.  There is no cost to participate in the program.

Banners will be hung from mid-May to mid-November each year.  All 2024 banners will be rehung in 2025 and 2026; no need to reapply each year.  All 2025 banners will be rehung in 2026 and 2027; no need to reapply each year.

By filling out this application, and submitting a high-resolution digital photo, we will create a Hometown Hero Banner.  Banners will be displayed along Montrose Avenue, Harlem Avenue, Irving Park Road, Canfield Road, the 4000 block of Olcott Avenue, Cumberland Avenue and Foster Avenue.
